I am not entirely new to Bikram yoga, having first been introduced to it about five years ago. I have, however, recently returned to it after almost a year without any form of yoga activity. My personal aim is to make it for at least three Bikram sessions a week. On top of this, I aim to train for functional muscle strength and practice Vinyasa yoga once a week each. I am a school teacher by trade and a foodie by passion, which usually works in an opposing force to my yoga practice. I practice because I put on weight extremely quickly without physical activity, and for some reason, yoga, unlike other forms of activity, brings me peace.
